Its name pays homage to Timothy Sullivan, an Irishman and one of the early farmers in these parts. As the late 19th century rolled in, the city made a significant decision – to cover the gulch and make way for progress, thus setting the stage for a remarkable transformation.
Fast-forward to today, and Sullivan’s Gulch is a thriving, cozy neighborhood that cherishes its roots while embracing the future. It cozies up to the Lloyd District and shares its borders with Irvington, Grant Park, and Kerns.

Popo & Archer Take Sullivan's Gulch
We roamed all over the neighborhood, and let us tell you, it's a doggie paradise. There are these amazing green spaces where we got to roll around and play, and the best part? Meeting so many furry friends along the way.
But wait, it gets even better! We made our way to Holladay Park, and oh my dog, it was pawsome! We stretched out in the lush grass, basking in the sun and enjoying the cool breezes. And guess what? Those funny sprinkler things gave us a surprise splash every now and then.
Yep, we're exhausted, but it was totally worth it. Sullivan's Gulch, you've won our furry hearts, and we can't wait for more adventures in this tail-wagging neighborhood! 🐾🐾
