2021: The Good, The Bad, & The Spicy?

We made it. 2022 is here!

Let’s all take a collective breath… In and out… phew!

This past year was incredible, and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to help SO many Portlanders buy or sell. This is just the beginning of a very busy and exciting year ahead.

To kick it off, let’s reflect on the past year and look forward to what 2022 has to offer. Cheers!

2021: The Good, The Bad, & The Spicy?

Besides setting our mouths on fire with the Death Nut Challenge and digesting Selling Sunset, what other challenges did 2021 bring?

2021 overall was a great year and if the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s to count our blessings! And as such, the major challenge this year was really (you guessed it) COVID itself. We experienced a short window of time when the COVID-19 Pandemic seemed to be on the up-and-out and I know we’re not alone when we say that it really got our hopes up. But, just when we saw the light at the end of the tunnel, it suddenly felt like we were right back where we started. Damn Omicron!

2021 Highlights: Best of the Best!

1. Charlie’s Agents

This year, Patrik took the leap and is now a full-time Portland agent! An immense amount of planning, dedication, a passion for my hometown of Portland, and the incredible support from all of you is what has made this dream possible. We are endlessly grateful for that support. Get ready Portland, Patrik Antich is a rising star!

Once we became full-time partners in crime, the next step was to join an equally awesome agency. You could say… the angels needed their Charlie? We joined The Agency, taking another step forward in our real estate careers. We can't wait to continue serving & helping even more of the community this year with the support of this full-service brokerage. ⁣Check us out!

With these exciting new ventures came Patrik’s first million-dollar sale – a Kings Heights stunner with some of the best skyline views in the city!

Phew, we’re only on the first bullet point??

2. Gold Stars All Around!

Both of us were honored to receive the Rising Star Award for 2022, announcing to the Portland and surrounding community that we are five-star agents! This award is extra special because it’s completely crowd-sourced. Meaning, the jury for this award contacted our current and former clients for feedback on their experience working with Piece of PDX. Your rave reviews contributed to our achievement of the Rising Star Award. Thank you all!

3. Much Needed Vacay

If you haven’t experienced the effects of working remotely in your own mental health, you have likely observed it in a family member or friend. When home is simultaneously an office, “clocking out” of work can be a challenge. Everyone deserved the chance to decompress this year – we are feeling extra thankful we had the opportunity to spend two weeks in Palm Springs and turn off our work brains. Check out Thomas in his vacay-kaftan!

4. Popo & Archer Explored Portland

Our pups – Popo and Archer – enjoyed some Portland excursions this year. For our 2021 favorite outings with the pups, check out the Get to Know: Portland blogs. We saved our favorite dog parks and dog-friendly spots across Portland neighborhoods.

5. Oh, yeah… and we got ENGAGED!

No big deal *wink*

No plans yet for a wedding date but we’re super excited to wrap up the year on such a high note with these beautiful one-of-a-kind rings to symbolize the infinite happy years to come!

Looking Into the Future!

These AMAZING achievements and the success of 2021 would not have been possible without the support of our family, friends, and outstanding clients. We want to take this opportunity to say thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Looking forward, we aim to continue shaping Piece of PDX into Portland’s top, client-centric, luxury real estate team. We are in the process of collaborating within the community and planning exciting events for you all! Keep your eyes open — we are launching a brand new referral program  —the Golden Ticket Event for our clients and sphere. Hear about it first on our social accounts (hint, hint)!

Here’s to a prosperous 2022. Cheers!
